The program presented by the two tireless Romanian musicians includes a collection of creations belonging to composers from different cultural spaces, with sometimes contrasting destinies, but united by a common denominator: opposition to an oppressive political system and, in some cases, the sacrifice that this entailed. Therefore, this repertoire includes personalities who have enjoyed universal recognition – Dmitri Shostakovich, Ernest Bloch, Paul Constantinescu, Mihail Jora, Myriam Marbe, Walter Klepper – but also a name almost disappeared from the public’s memory – Serghei Bortkiewicz. They are Romanian and foreign creators who build a universal perspective on the phenomenon of resistance through art and the continuity of the belief in freedom, to which is added, as in the case of previous world tours, an absolute premiere work, created especially for this tour by the young composer Roman Vlad.

The tour repertoire is:

1. Paul Constantinescu – Sonatina for violin and piano in G minor;

2. Ernest Bloch – Moments from the “Baal Shem” Suite for violin and piano;

3. Walter Michael Klepper – Sonatina for violin and piano no. 1;

4. Sergei Bortkiewicz – Three Pieces for Violin and Piano;

5. Sergei Bortkiewicz – Two Mazurkas for Solo Piano op. 64;

6. Roman Vlad – “Musica Prohibita” For Solo Violin – first audition;

7. Dmitri Shostakovich – Four Preludes for Violin and Piano op.34;

8. Mihail Jora – “Little Suite” for Violin and Piano;

9. Myriam Marbé – Humoreska for Violin and Piano (arranged by Diana Jipa and Ștefan Doniga after the original version for cello and piano).
